1967 Chevrolet Camaro
This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro coupe has been refinished in black over black, and it is powered by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 16″ wheels, Wilwood disc brakes, a modified suspension, RS-style headlight assemblies, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, an alarm, and an aftermarket sound system.
We acquired the car in early 2021, and 2,500 miles have since been added. Our Camaro has a clean California title as our usage was mainly in that state.
The car has been refinished in black and features a front air dam, RS-style headlight assemblies, a cowled hood, a rear spoiler, and RS badging.
Black-finished 16″ Rally-style wheels are mounted with 225/50 Falken front tires and 255/50 Toyo rear rubber; the Toyo tires were installed after the majority of the accompanying photos were taken. The suspension has been modified with tubular front control arms, Bilstein front shocks, Hotchkis front springs and rear shocks, front and rear sway bars, and rear traction bars. The car is also equipped with electrically assisted four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes and power-assisted steering. A Classic Performance Products crossmember and subframe connectors have been installed.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in black vinyl complemented by a matching headliner, carpeting, and trim. Features include a Vintage Air climate-control system, power windows, power locks, a Viper alarm, a center console, and an aftermarket sound system with a Jensen VX3012 pop-up screen. The doorsill plates, visors, rearview mirror, and wipers have been replaced, and sound insulation has been installed in the doors.
An aftermarket steering wheel sits ahead of AutoMeter instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows just under 10k miles. True mileage is unknown.
The trunk has been reupholstered, and the weatherstripping has been replaced. The battery and a kill switch are located in the right-rear corner.
The fuel-injected 6.2-liter LS3 V8 is said to make use of a Holley oil pan, ceramic-coated exhaust headers that feed a dual exhaust system, and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, and a Proform Perfect Launch differential cover has been installed.
