Chevrolet is one of the most recognizable automotive brands of all time. The company was launched in 1911 and its first production car debuted the same year. It was the Chevrolet Series C Classic Six, which represented a change for the Brass Era of cars due to its larger size, more liberal use of power, and its more expensive price tag. Throughout the years, the company continued to expand and produced some of the most iconic rides known to humankind.

Out of all of Chevrolet’s offerings, one of its most well-known and long-lasting is the Impala. The first model debuted in 1958 and the production of the Impala didn’t end until 2020. The car has changed a great deal over its several decades on the market, but the ’60’s models are often thought to be the golden age of the Impala. In fact, the 1963 Chevy Impala Z11 is sometimes called the “meanest and rarest Impala ever built.”
