1932 Ford HotRod

Thirties design cues are so distinctive, and this 1932 Ford Hot Rod Replica showcases them beautifully in an eye-grabbing red paintjob with removable black vinyl hard top, making it a convertible at will. Being a restomod-style replica, it rolls on a set of American Racing alloy wheels wrapped in suitably chunky tires that are said to be like-new. The most eye-catching factor of the side view is the exposed engine! There’s also a set of side steps. Under the skin, it sits on a boxed-in frame for sturdiness and longevity. All chrome is reportedly in excellent condition. The black leather interior looks amazing as well, and seats two occupants on a single bench seat with fold-down armrest. You’ve got a Grant steering wheel to grip, and a set of Stewart Warner gauges to communicate all salient information. Beneath the central gauges lies an aftermarket JVC head unit with radio, CD and AUX connectivity for some classic to modern tunes. The boot is upholstered in black leather as well.

Engine

The thing with a replica is, you can stay as true to the original as you like, whilst adding some customization and diversion. This 1932 Ford Hot Rod Replica flirts outrageously with the major competitor at the time, General Motors, by packing a 350ci Chevrolet engine that’s on display for all to see. The engine is fed by an Edelbrock carburetor and sends drive to the rear wheels through a Turbo 400 automatic transmission and Ford 9” rear end. Braking is via front discs and rear drums, and the suspension is a 4-link set-up.
